A beautiful 1940s side table by Jules Leleu, with clean lines that enhance the opulent surface. The sides extend above an inset top, beveling down towards it. A drawer beneath this lips out beyond the planes of the front and back, mirrored by a matching shelf halfway down. The main body sits on a recessed plinth and a classically Leleu base, with bronze banding and small, curved legs with scrolled bronze sabots on each foot.
