US$255.00
sold out

First edition, published by Bocca Editori, Milano, 1996.

This book documents the many beautiful and unique creations to come out of the glass making factories of the Venetian island of Murano. Glassworks have been created on the island for over a thousand years, but came to universal popularity in the mid-20th century with large amounts of products being created and more experimental designs influenced by the many changes in the art and design world. Despite the varying aesthetic, the glass is always created using the same centuries old techniques.
