Accompanying a joint exhibition of their works at New York's Pace Gallery in 1993 is this wonderful catalogue of the late works of the supremely important 20th century artists, Willem De Kooning and Jean Dubuffet. Featuring an essay by the noted art critic Peter Schjeldahl alongside fine colour plates of work by both artists, this is an excellent exploration of two masters of artistic invention as they reinvented themselves and the conventions of painting for one last time.

Hardback without dust jacket as issued, text in English, around 70 pages. Illustrated with copious colour plates and several additional black and white photographs throughout.
