This beautifully designed hardback catalogue was published for Hamilton’s first retrospective exhibition. The catalogue includes an essay and commentary by Richard Morphet, written with the close consultation of the Hamilton giving a detailed insight into the underlying ideas and the evolution of each work. Illustrated in black and white, with 10 colour reproductions.
Accompanying the book is a selection of ephemera from the exhibition, including 5 official black and white Tate reproduction photographs and a press release on headed paper.
Condition: Very good condition, some signs of age to dust jacket, chipping towards corners and ends of spine.
