PAUL NOBLE – NOBSON CENTRAL, LIMITED EDITION BOOK AND SIGNED DRAWING, 2000

1,100.00

First edition, limited edition of 18, published by Walther Koenig, 2000

This scarce, boxed Koenig edition includes Paul Noble’s book ‘Nobson Central’ and a unique signed study connected to the 1998/99 monumental drawing of the same title. The original drawing included in the box is built up of areas of white paper collage, outlined with black pen and signed to the back ‘Rubble 6 Paul Noble 2000’. The book features 200 pages of detail reproductions of the dystopian ‘Nobson Central’ drawing, depicting hundreds of partially destroyed cube shaped buildings in a landscape of rubble and various abandoned objects.

Previously nominated for the Turner Prize, Paul Noble is renowned for his unique draftsmanship, and breathtakingly large and intricate drawings.
